Josh and Meredith Miller
When Meredith met Josh she was unimpressed. Josh is grateful that she later reconsidered. Now they have three kids – James, Annie, Abigail – and drive a minivan with a sliding door that never works. They love hospitality, disciple-making, and dessert. Josh has served on staff at The Summit Church since 2012 and loves equipping people to follow Jesus and make disciples in the everyday stuff of life. God is at work in Charlottesville and the Millers are excited to join him.
Mark and Whitney Turner
Mark loves Jesus and has devoted his life to serving the church. While Mark has worn many hats in ministry from video producer and musician to professor and preacher, he currently serves as a pastor of family ministry in Suffolk, VA, and speaks regularly at Lifeway Camps and other events. He and his family are preparing to move to Philadelphia, PA to plant a church. Mark has been married to Whitney since 2007. They have a son (Jackson) and daughter (Abigail). He is a comedy nerd, cinephile, and renaissance man, dabbling in music, reading, sports, and beard-growing.
Cory and Stefani Johnson
Cory is first and foremost, a son of God, not because of anything he has done, but simply by God’s grace – Cory just can’t get over that! After that, he is the husband of Stefani. She is without a doubt his best friend. Cory is also dad to Makayla, Molly, Maycee, and Myles. He loves hardback books, coffee in a mug, good food, and adventure. In addition, Cory likes pretty much every sport there is, and wants to try them all at some point. Cory most recently served as the Student Pastor at 121 Community Church in Grapevine, TX, where he spent the last 8 years. The Johnsons are excited to plant a new church in Austin, TX.
Matt and Natalie Felton
Ashburn, VA (Washington, D.C. area)
Matt Felton is a North Carolina native and N.C. State alum, but has spent the last six years pastoring in Oklahoma City (after a brief detour in D.C.). The Feltons are now moving to the Washington, D.C. area where they hope to plant a new church in the ever-expanding D.C. metro. He is married to Natalie, and together they have three daughters: Harper, Emersyn, and Iris. He will be joined by David Chung, a Los Angeles native who shares their heart for our nation’s capital.
